The big reveal
Make some space to lay your curtains out, and remove your curtains from the box.
Don’t they look great?
Step one:
Lay your curtains out on a flat surface
Lay the curtains on a flat surface. Before getting busy with the hanging of the curtains, it’s a good idea to check you have enough curtain rings and hooks. Count the number of pleats in the curtain, you will need to make sure that you have a curtain ruing and curtain hook for each pleat in the curtain.
Step two:
Adding the hooks
Insert a curtain hook on every pleat of the curtain, continuing for the full length of the curtain. Take your time and make sure everything is lined up correctly.
Step three:
Hang
Hold the curtain up against the window and begin to thread the curtain hooks through the curtain rings. Some curtains can be a little bit heavy, so you may need a friend to hold the weight of the curtain whilst you thread the hooks through the curtain rings. Start in the middle of your window and work your way out to the edge.
Step four:
Repeat
Well done for completing your first curtain– now to finish the job. Repeat each step on your second curtain.
Then step back and admire your handy work!
